A Daily Dose of Art: The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Yesterday (Sunday), I visited the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

I loved loved loved the Alvin Lester: Portraits of Jackson Ward and Beyond exhibition. I’ve actually already seen their big current big exhibition, Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, at the High in Atlanta, so I skipped it. Maybe I’ll see it again while I’m in town.

(Also I might’ve hung out in the Jackson Ward neighborhood for a few hours today doing some research.)

More soon, hopefully. Maybe.
