A Daily Dose of Art: The Nasher Museum of Art

The Nasher Museum of Art is one of my happy places, and I was thrilled to visit for a few hours today. I usually don’t like to visit art museums for more than an hour at a time, but I took a lunch break at the museum cafe to refuel my afternoon of art viewing.

I loved the Everything Now All At Once and the Coming into Focus: A Snapshot of Photography at the Nasher exhibitions that are currently on view. What a delightful feast of fantastic art.

Here are a few photos of some art that caught my attention (including a photograph by Danny Lyon, whose photographs were featured yesterday):

Danny Lyon, Chair, 1967

William Eggleston, Untitled from The Democratic Forest series, c. 1983-1986

Amy Sherald, Light Is Easy to Love, 2017

Genesis Tramaine, Saint with Bethel Vision, 1983

Hans Hofmann, Untitled, 1942
